06-September 2009 - Champions!!

Cove Cricket Club had a lot to celebrate on Saturday evening and into the early hours of Sunday morning. The first eleven secured promotion back to Division One by winning Division 2B. We look forward to seeing what this young and talented team can achieve in 2010. They won 13 out of their 18 games to win the league by 19 points.

The third eleven won Division 5A title giving them promotion to level 4 for the 2010 season. With some young players mixed with some experience ones Cove 3rd XI have had an excellent season and will look forward the the challenges ahead.

The second eleven were unfortunately relegated from Division 2A, they enter this season knowing it was going to be a challenge and with some luck along the way would have stayed up.

The Academy with a a core group of young players 14 and under stayed in the promotion hunt to the 2nd to last game and secured a creditable 4th place.

The 5th XI finished in the lower part of mid table in Division 9 and have helped bring on some other of our other younger players throughout the season.
